Is he still alive In 2024?
Beautiful
I slept on this floor. Lin chien hong wo de shrgong. Brings back so many memories. America stands with Taiwan.
love this so much-know the yang long form will learn this long form thx so much for posting
Do you know, who the first man is? So fluent, continous softpower movements always in tone.
I love it ! The attacker is so shy and calm , long range attacks :) ! Taichi guy is so nervous !
Once I met The Golden LOPSOY on the Peak on Hong Kong Island …. I learned something new
Your hands must become like the lotus …. Your body like a dragon pillar between heaven and earth Study the fighting skills! Doubt them! Challenge them and test them to the limits!
You can see his chi, and his movement is so fluid. Who is this?
Wonderful
同年十二步岁
The continuous flow of movements demonstrates the flow of energy within ourselves. Combined with breathing, you can almost trace the flow of negative energy leaving the body and the pull of positive energy with each inhalation.
Watching Fu move with such effortless and such graceful movements puts me at a calm state, almost as if I am meditating. It's like you can almost see the energy flowing through Fu.
While I have heard of tai chi before, I have not seen in practice prior to this video. I am surprised and impressed with the intention in which each motion is done. I can see how this practice would aid in fostering a mind body connection.
Where is full footage of this event?
Yang-style tai chi looks peaceful, mindful and intentional. Watching Fu move gracefully through these moves reminded me of the power of energy, and the fact that we are made up of constantly moving energized bodies! These moves could definitely become meditative after some time, and help regulate mood and decrease anxiety.
Fun Fact: Chris Farley trained under this master for six months before the filming of Beverly Hills Ninja.
Intresting music
Looks like a distant cousin of Chen style Er Lu.
Is there a better quality video of this performance available that also has this great music playing? If so, who can provide it. I love this video-music combination!
KC Huang is a disciple of the Master Xiong Yangho. He has learned taiji since he was 12. ruclips.net/video/N26L5-jACIE/видео.html
TOTALLY AWESOME...THANK- YOU MASTER..
真功夫
Was he the son of Chi Fu?
This is TRUE old age. Instead we have made old an impediment and a weakness!
5:20 linked 5 elements.
00:39 Chicken, exactly how I learned it from my teacher.
So rare! A true classic, thanks so much for posting!
I've seen a lot of Praying Mantis stylists doing Praying Mantis handsets. Beautiful performances! What this performance has that MOST of the others (that I've seen) don't have, is Brendan Lai's handspeed... Not only are his hands moving fast but his step is precise. "Techniques can match other techniques, but nothing can match speed" -- Brendan Lai Fan Tsu Tung was +300 pounds. What was he known for most? Other than his Iron Palm technique? His speed. +300 pound human known for how fast his hands were... Then there is "Lightning Hands Li". Right in his name. "Lightning Hands"... 7-Star Praying Mantis handsets can be done fast, slow, or somewhere in the middle. They can be done with a lot of energy put into the movements, or done at a pace where you don't want to get all sweaty. To me, none of it is wrong.
😂
Sifu Fu Zhongwen is so graceful and purposeful in his movements. Watching him gave me such a peaceful and calming effect.
Yang style as its best! thank you so much!
3:34 Xiao Hu Yen….RIP Master Su
God…his speed is amazing Like Bruce Lee reaction time 😮
That gets you an immediate sub. and my thanks. Never thought I would see for myself Liao Wuchang doing his deep form, Monkey Biking? Very happy, as always, to see Wang Ssu Chin. Watching him meander through Pa Kua was entertaining. Any tape from these days is worth its weight in gold. Mr. Smith's books have been a long and treasured friend. Thanks very much for sharing with us. Laoshr #60 Ching Yi Kung Fu Association

What I find most interesting regarding this video is how useful Tai Chi can be to people. It is such a disciplined practice that helps to alleviate stress and improve mindfulness.
It's been 15 years since a video has been uploaded on this channel. I'd love to see more footage from the channel owner 🙏
Beautiful footage

「身体の中が渦を巻く」「身体が一つの石の様に固まる」 これが出来なくては太気拳と言えないし、これを説明できなくては太気拳を教える資格はない。
The first woman performing the sword form, Harn Lin Lin is still teaching in Cambridge, MA.
How could I know please where comes from the music?
What I found to be most interesting to me was how much stress could be alleviated with the use of tai chi, mindfulness, and breathing techniques.
